2nd On 2nd
A 2nd life on 2nd Avenue, a beachfront 1940’s bungalow required a pop-top! Now a multi-generational family can holiday with extended living zones and separated bedrooms. The original living room has been widened across the full width of the house to connect with the large north-facing beach deck. The main bedroom has been elevated to the first floor with adjacent living and upper deck providing shelter to below. Rainscreens and aluminium cladding liven the exterior. Stairway and void bring light and warmth from above and articulate the volume.
